Recently we had the pleasure of this groovy band at the winery. The music vibe, the taste devilish wood-fired pizza from Orio and samplings the latest Pinot and Cabernets kept everyone spinning.
Here’s a bit about BossBucho
Howling Tales of Past Lives and Nostalgia
BossBucho's unique sound is a curio-shop mix of traditional folk, melancholy pop, blues ballads and cobblestone rock. Their sound lifts the audience to enthusiastic and spontaneous animation one minute and then lays them into a plaintive and mellow contemplation of lost loves the next. But, like any good mate, they drag drag you back to reality and with an audial slap, and get you back out onto the dance floor to sweat out any bad juju you may still be harbouring in your soul.
Hailing from Belfast – Northern Ireland, Auckland – New Zealand and Leongatha – country Victoria, BossBucho came together after a chance meeting in The Tote in Collingwood mid 2008 and have since been gigging hard In Melbourne and Japan while simultaneously working on their upcoming debut album, ‘Black Mountain Tales’.
Solid tunes - told simply.
